Hello Fick fans! With the Fickert family’s blessing, we’ve selected the following places to donate in Mark’s memory.

 THEATER

Circle Theater

Tim Long: “Mark adored [Circle Theater founders] Bill and Rose, and they adored him. He did several shows at Circle, starting with the Dead President’s Club (he played LBJ), Becky’s New Car, and Under the Skin. Mark also produced a weekend of Holiday on Thin Ice at Circle.” Mark also performed in The God of Carnage in 2013, which was a peak experience for him.

COMEDY

Pocket Sandwich Shop Theater

Mark performed steadily in the Mockingbird and then Carrollton locations with the Docs. Several independent comedy gigs there. Random Scam and Pocket’s Emporium Players were entwined with the early Lower Greenville scene. He loved the theater’s casual, family feel, and he’s featured multiple times on the photo wall.
