Posting for Special Causes

Are you a charity, non-profit progressive cause? We want to hear from you at Moonlady News. But we are also volunteer based, so we need you to work with us to reach the 2800+ members of the listserve.

The notice must be specific to North Texas and compatible with the listserv topics. Please read this to see if you fit.

Moonlady News is on YahooGroups and works best with text messages featuring moderate HTML text enhancements. No large graphics, photos or jpegs. No attachments. Look at the messages at the home page to get an Idea of what the notices are like.

The key to posting at Moonlady News is to submit the notice EXACTLY as you want to see it go out. It needs to have a complete descriptive subject line. Include date and day of week if an event, and the city if not Dallas. Do not use all capitals.

Moonlady’s Silver Service

  • Want to post something on your services or business to Moonlady News, but do not want to become a member?
  • Are you a member but find it hard to remember to post your notices regularly?
  • Got a nice PDF or Constant Contact type newsletter you want to post, but don't want it mangled by YahooGroups?
  • Have a flier and want to post it on Moonlady News, but don't want to hassle with turning it into an email?

In Silver Service the Moonlady’ will:

  • Create the notice from web text, flier, PDF or Word document; some limits apply.
  • Make a snappy subject line/headline.
  • Post the notice for you.
  • Use your own email address for the reply.
  • Put it on bi-monthly or monthly rotation if desired.

Silver Service is available to Moonlady News member and nonmembers alike.

If you desire Silver Service, send a note and what you want to submit to: moonladynews@yahoo.com. (NOT the usual posting address). Please send in event notices 2 weeks prior to the event.

The rate is $10 per notice, or 5 for $40. You will be emailed a Silver Service invoice in return. You prepay for however many runs you want.
